Michelle Roberts is a psychologist and teacher who has worked in education for 26 years. Michelle’s area of interest is in working with school-aged children affected by disasters and traumatic events.

 

As manager of Emergency Management for the Victorian Education Department, Michelle provided policies and training for schools and school leadership teams and also wrote Managing School Emergencies Guidelines for Schools. Since leaving the Education Department Michelle has provided training and consultancy to a range of organisations and schools before, during and after critical incidents and emergencies. Michelle continues to work as a school psychologist at The Kilmore International School and provides consultancy in education settings and to students affected by traumatic events and emergencies.
